Aalto Fablab celebrates 10 years of innovation, participation, digital manufacturing, technology and creation with an exhibition and a birthday fiesta on 18 of November! Over the last decade, Aalto Fablab has helped people to conceptualize, design, develop and fabricate, with a focus on world-changing open and accessible technologies.
Exhibition
The Digital Fabrication Showcase 2021 exhibition will display the work that has been produced in and with Aalto Fablab during the past years. It is going to take place in the main lobby of Väre, which is the new home for all the departments of the School of Arts, Design, and Architecture. The exhibition will last from 15 to 28 November 2021.
Celebration
The celebration is a chance to meet many people who have participated in the 10-year long journey of Aalto Fablab. It will take place on 18 November between 14:00 and 18:00 in the main lobby of the Aalto Studios building in Otakaari 7. The event will feature diverse stories from and about Aalto Fablab.
Bootcamp
As the first fab lab in Finland, Aalto Fablab is honored to host the first Finnish fab lab network boot camp, the Fablab Suomi Bootcamp 2021. Friday 19 and Saturday 20 November will be filled with activities where the Finnish fab lab network participants will have the opportunity to meet each other.
